More than 3 wins in a season we will review case by case whether you are "A" status and therefor still eligible or not.
Player eligibility for the Dominiak Cues Amateur Tour can be found on the "Membership & Eligibility" page.
----------------------------------------------
Sportsmanship is to be shown from all players on the Dominiak Cues Tour. Any outbursts will result in membership termination immediately.
The tournament director will be head referee. If there is to be a close call the opponent will call the referee over to watch the shot before the shot is taken. Failing to call in a referee the call goes to the shooter, no exceptions. Lets be honest and show good sportsmanship please.
Dress code: There isn't any, but if you crawl under your car and change your oil before you come you might want to change up.

10 Ball Rules:
LAG FOR BREAK: closest to the bottom cushion without hitting a side rail or a pocket opening determines if he/she wants the break.
THE BREAK: NO softbreaks, 3 object balls must reach or pass the side pockets on the break or a ball pocketed on the break, not executing either results in the balls re-racked and the opponent gets the break. On a legal break the 1 ball must be struck first on the break or the opponent has ball in hand anywhere on the table. If the breaking player does neither hit the 1 ball first AND not drive 3 balls to the reach the side pockets then the incoming player has to rerack and take the break.
A scratch on the break AND 3 balls reach the side pockets results in ball-in-hand anywhere on the table for your opponent.
The tour will NOT be playing by the WPA 10-Ball rules (world pool association). We decided this because the WPA rules are call shot rules, also the 10 ball on the break is not a win according to WPA rules. This decision is based on the pace of play, the WPA rules would slow the pace of the tournament to where we would be playing the finals at 2am in the morning.
STANDARD BALL IN HAND RULES: The Dominiak Cues Tour will be using standard "Texas Express" rules for 10 ball. The same standard rules for 9 Ball, which are "ball-in-hand" rules. The 3 foul rule applies (3 consecutive fouls is loss of game), but the opponent must announce to the offending player after 2 consecutive fouls that they are on 2 fouls prior to the offending player shooting again or the rule does not apply.
ALL BALLS STAY DOWN: under all circumstances, except the 10 ball which is spotted if the 10 ball is pocketed and a foul occurs.
The balls are racked in a triangle with the 1 ball in front and the 10 ball in the middle, the rest racked at random.
FOULS: Players must strike the lowest numbered ball on the table first and either drive the cue ball or any object ball to a rail after a legal contact. Not executing a legal hit or driving the cue ball or object ball to a rail results in ball in hand to the opponent anywhere on the table.
CUE BALL FOULS ONLY - The tour will NOT be playing "all ball fouls", because there is not a referee at every match we will not be playing "all ball fouls", we will be playing "cue ball fouls only". If you accidentally move the cue ball in any manner with your cue or your body it is a foul. If an object ball is touched and moved by accident it is NOT a foul, the opponent must have the right to put the ball back where they thought it was before the offender takes the next shot. If the object ball is moved accidently during a shot then the opponent has the option to put it back after the cueball stops rolling. If the cueball OR another object ball crosses the path of where the ball was accidently moved then this is a foul and results in ball in hand.
10 ON THE SNAP: Pocketing the 10 ball on a legal break is a win.
PUSHOUT AFTER THE BREAK: After a legal break, the player who has the next turn after the breakshot can opt to "pushout" the cueball to anywhere on the table without having to hit the lowest numbered ball on the table or go to a rail. The incoming player has the option of taking the shot from where the pushout lays or opt to hand the shot back to the player that pushed out. There is only one pushout per game allowed, and only the next shot after the break.
JUMP CUES ALLOWED: Except when the host room does not allow jumping on their tables, which is frequent these days because of the damage of the cloth. Excessive use of powder is not allowed as it creates a mess on the tables.
